We are a nation of a billion people, spiritually forward (debatable), technologically catching up and religiously glued.
People of the world in the vast majority believe in the power above. Me too. But lakhs of us thronging temples far away, spending many hours in front of a deity, etc have made some (many) of us weak. Weak as a person. Weak as a world contributor.
The question is : Are we believing too much in god than in our own abilities? Are we overdoing our prayers?

The first week's been bad.
Its a drain on certain vital emotions when your career seems to drive ur life, to decide where you have to be and what you need to do.

Munnar Express
Was in India last month .... just in time to join the gangsters of Hindu99 on a trip to Munnar. Supposed to be the last trip before many of us fill up differently in the maritial status column.
The 'Flying High' trip as it was called was a super sucess. Heres some tidbits on the bloopers, bulbs, vaaku vadhams and crazy moments ......
5 yr plans and 5 day plans
9 heads cudnt decide on a proper plan until the last minute. Railway booking was a mess as prahl manipulated travel so that he cud say hi and bye to his madurai meenakshi even though everyone were talkin abt cochin. We had to book, cancel, rebook from madurai to Cbe and then rethink abt cochin ..... phew!
GCT & Bathroom Adventures
harry padichha kaloori was given the privelege of hosting some of the bad stuff we got from chennai...... According to the Mission, we were to finish all activites in 15 mins .... however the following events distorted the course of history..
1. Only 2 buckets and 1 mug in the entire floor of students
2. Water stoppage after me n prahl wait 10 mins for the bathroom. We had to walk to another building where the wait time was longer.
3. harry's senior, then classmate and now current final year student's mokkai and blade ... which took some time to end.
Me n prahal had some interesting discussions on medical terms relating to nature's call .... worth a blog! The hostel a typical bachelors mess, was one of the highlights of our trip. We loved it.

Hema's new passion apart frm parotta & KuRu(A)M(Y)A was born during the tour. His astute eye for nature and detail brought us some of the most bizzare yet loveable shots of the tour.

6:15 AM , vijay and his stooges walk the streets of munnar....'arjunar villu.... harishchandar sollu' ..... they drink gupu gupu to release the pressures ;-) ; vijay of course adichifies his malabar bidi as well ....
"Irrutu Arai" the game
Shock, Horror, Mystery, Deceit and Adventure
Two useless detectives are supposed to capture a set of criminals ....they keep shouting anbuchelvan and aaruchami coming, all night! Finally all they can manage is to beat up the uppukku chappani gals and jail them. Of course the heroes end up rescuing them as always ;-)
Coffee-Bite arguments .. but agreed sweet!
Well gr8 minds think alike but Dr.P has eons of time before he can attain greatness.... so P and R had some wunderful discussions on the course of actions for the next day. Some spectators were entertained while the rest simply dint care. In the end after rounds over cardgames and dinner tables ... Anand and Kasparov decided to draw it !
Lighthouses and Kerala Puttu
While teja was searching for her lighthouse, hema was debating with harry about biryani or puttu for breakfast while some of the others were using their mobile phones like how gai uses her office phone. Ultimately lighthouse melai bulb erinjiruchu, mumbaille unmai therinjuruchu, munnaril some loosunga adhu theriyama perisa samallika plan podha arambichachu!
Poli Doctor and Shocked Pearl
Madame M and Dr P were playing catch catch when Dr P accidentally touches current kambi... madame M cries(screams) in horror and wakes up all of Hotel Pearl's midnight masala watchers who come out of their rooms in their limited clothing. But not many including Madame M knw abt our currentke shock kudukkum Narasimha.
'Gai'chung ghutiya
Star forward and Indian International Gaichung ghutiya titled the balance between the teams as the gangsters football tournament got underway. However brilliant passing and strong winds prevented gaichung frm touching the ball even once and showing off her brilliant banana kicks.... however gaichung was declared man of the match in the 3-3 draw becoz she agreed to leave the game and go play shuttle halfway thru.
Salsa, Waltz and Ballet
Brilliant western moves frm the 3 roses gang + vijay & aru'sami' alongwith the classical dance steps frm the rest enveloped the tempo traveller as it came alive with a fusion of western and classical.CMON CMON. The puncture happened soon.
